ECE Professor John D. Cressler has released the second edition of his textbook, Silicon Earth: Introduction to Microelectronics and Nanotechnology,

ECE's Nelson Lourenco, Reza Pourabolghasem, and Dogancan (Can) Temel were chosen for Sigma Xi Best Ph.D. Thesis Awards, which were presented at the Georgia Tech Sigma Xi Awards Banquet on April 18.

ECE Professors Muhannad S. Bakir, John D. Cressler, and Sung Kyu Lim have been chosen to receive the 2016 Class of 1940 Course Survey Teaching Effectiveness Award. 



ECE Ph.D. student Adrian Ildefonso received the Outstanding Paper Award at the 2018 Nuclear and Space Radiation Effects Conference (NSREC).

John D. Cressler, Lukas Graber, Tushar Krishna, Sung Kyu Lim, and Benjamin Yang have been chosen for the Georgia Tech Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) Class of 1940 Course Survey Teaching Effectiveness Award.

ECE Ph.D. students Patrick Goley and Adrian Ildefonso have been named as 2018-2019 Leadership Fellows in the Georgia Tech Leadership Forum.

John D. Cressler has been promoted to the rank of Regents Professor; his nomination to this rank was approved by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents on August 10.
