Advising

Students may seek advice from Staff Advisors regarding Institute procedures and forms, degree petition and audit, mandatory advising for students on Academic Warning or Probation or with midterm grade issues, and general advising on academic issues.

Students may seek advice from faculty regarding Technical Interest Groups, elective courses, undergraduate research projects, job opportunities, and graduate schools.

ECE Undergraduate Academic Advisement

All ECE undergraduate academic advisement must be scheduled via ADVISOR LINK (https://advisor.gatech.edu/) or send an email to undergraduate@ece.gatech.edu.

NO WALK-INS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE ECE ACADEMIC OFFICE.

Advising hours are from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m (Monday-Friday).

To schedule an appointment through Advisor Link. First click the “Appointments” tab then click “Schedule an appointment” then follow the appointment wizard.

If the information presented on the ECE website does not fully answer your questions, the ECE Undergraduate Affairs Office staff will be happy to assist you.

All inquiries about admissions should be made to the Georgia Tech Undergraduate Admission Office at admission@gatech.edu. Their office makes decisions on all undergraduate admissions and admission policies.  The greater the specificity of your message, the better equipped the undergraduate admissions staff will be to handle your inquiry.

Questions concerning scholarships and loans should be directed to the Georgia Tech Financial Aid Office. In addition to general Georgia Tech scholarship programs, their office also manages any scholarships that are specifically for ECE students.

Any inquiries about ECE undergraduate programs that are not answered on this website should be directed to the ECE Undergraduate Affairs Office.  Questions may be sent by either U.S. mail or email:

If you are visiting on campus, our walk-in hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 12 noon and 1:30 pm to 4 pm.
