Yusun Chang is the Chair of the Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering Department at Kennesaw State University (KSU). He is currently a Professor at KSU and an Adjunct Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech. He has served as the director of a joint research lab, Vehicular Ad-hoc Networking (VANET) Research Laboratory, between the two universities since 2010.
He is a recipient of the Distinguished Professor Award in 2021, which is the highest honor among faculty at KSU. Dr. Chang also received the Outstanding Research and Creative Activity Award from KSU in 2020. He received the Distinguished Scholarship Award and the Distinguished Professor Award from his college in 2020 and 2021, respectively. He is also an active member of Communications Systems Center at Georgia Tech.
Dr. Chang is proposing a new paradigm, "Sustainable Mobile Networking," that improves the sustainable environment by using intelligent mobile communication technology and smart infrastructure to reduce traffic congestion/air pollution and enhance transportation safety with future mobility support such as autonomous driving.
