Dr. Andrew F. Peterson received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1982, 1983, and 1986 respectively. During 1981 and 1982, he was employed by Motorola in Schaumburg, Illinois, where he participated in the development of a simulcast mobile radio and paging system. From 1986 to 1989 he served as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate and subsequently as Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois. During this time, his research focused on the development of computational models for electromagnetic scattering. In September 1989, he joined the School of Electrical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology where he is working on advanced techniques of electromagnetic analysis.
