Biography

Arash Karbaschi was a member of the National Physics Olympiad team in 1992. He received his BSc in 1995 and MSc in 1997 in Electrcial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. In 2001 he moved to the US and since then he has been a PhD student in Electrical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology.

His research area is applications of holography in pattern recognition, bio-sensing, and manufacturing.
