Biography

Ali Javed Hashmi received his B.E (Avionics) from National University of Science and Technology (Pakistan) in 1996. His undergraduate research was on aircraft simulators. After his graduation, he was an employee of the Government of Pakistan for 8 years. He worked on the communication and automation systems during his tenure there.

Since spring, 2005, he has been a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA.
