Biography

Majid Badiei was born in Tehran, Iran. He obtained his BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in July 2002. He came to the United States in January 2003. Currently, he is a PhD student at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology.

His research interests are photonic crystals, optical communications and wireless communications.
