Microwave Applications Group (MAG)
is a pioneer in innovative solutions particularly in the Recent Newsareas of high frequency semiconductor devices, integrated circuits and systems for both wired and wireless applications.
MAG was founded by Joy Laskar, the Schlumberger Chair in Microelectronics at Georgia Tech’s School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Since the establishment of the group in 1995, MAG has built a reputation as being one of the most prolific RF/Analog research groups in the U.S. To contact MAG professors, students or staff, click here
Research at MAG
Research activities include: device characterization, design of high frequency transceiver front-end circuits using a variety of semiconductor technologies, development of compact packaging solutions with complete System-on-Package (SOP), and high integration of System-on-Chip (SOC) of wireless, optical and digital functions. Featured projects are:
oginitive Radio System-on-Chip Gbps Wireless Mixed Signal Lab Facility
MAG is part of Georgia Electronic Design Center and the School of ECE at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
