Jacket Micro Devices Inc.

JMD designs, produces and sells standard and custom RF Passive Components used in wireless communications products. We focus on components for wireless markets such as Mobile Phones, Wireless LAN, UWB, GPS, Satellite Television, Satellite Radio and Bluetooth to name a few. JMD has developed breakthrough technology that provides dramatic improvements in the size, performance and cost of RF passives.

JMD has developed a large range of RF passives including RF filters, Diplexer, Duplexers, Baluns and other passive devices. JMD's components are smaller size and cost than ceramic monoblock with equal performance, and far exceed the performance achievable with MLC (Multi Layer Ceramic).

JMD brings high performance to the integration of multiple passive devices into higher level components. JMD can meet, and in most cases exceed, the performance requirements of all the popular applications and hence can provide a truly integrated solution. JMD’s technology is an enhanced alternative to LTCC.

High performance is required for transmit/receive filters, high Q resonators, etc. JMD’s technology achieves very high Qs, resulting in high performance RF filters and other RF passive devices. This allows JMD to integrate the high performance RF passives directly into the substrate. The result is a significant cost and size advantage.
