Embedded Computing and Cyber-Physical Systems at Georgia Tech

Embedded computing is a major area of both research and education at Georgia Tech. Professors and students across the College of Engineering and College of Computing are working on problems in embedded computing.

Cyber-physical systems (CPS) is a new, emerging field whose proponents want to develop a more unified theory of computer-mediated control. Georgia Tech is home to a number of researchers in cyber-physical systems, including:

  • Magnus Egerstedt (ECE).
  • Bonnie Heck Ferri (ECE).
  • Eric Feron (Aerospace).
  • Nagi Gebraeel (ISYE).
  • Sakis Meliopoulos (ECE).
  • Vincent Mooney (ECE).
  • Kishore Ramachandran (Computing).
  • Santosh Pande (Computing).
  • Nader Sadegh (ME).
  • Wayne Wolf (ECE).
  • Yang Wang (CivE).
  • Fumin Zhang (ECEl).
  • Ying Zhang (ECE).
