ECE 3055A, Computer Architecture and Operating Systems

Texts: Patterson and Hennessy, Computer Organization and Design, 4th edition; Silberschatz, Galvin, and Gagne, Operating System Concepts, 8th edition. International editions and other editions have different questions and should not be used.

Grading: In-class quizzes: 30%, final exam 30%, labs 40%.

Assignments policy: All assignments are due at the start of class on the day they are due. Requests to turn in a late assignment or take a late quiz must be made by email to Prof. Wolf at least 24 hours before the deadline; such requests are not automatically granted. Late assignments without prior approval will not be accepted.
