User Study via InfoXchange@GaTech

In this project, we develop a Georgia Tech Information-Exchange Platform for Education (InfoXchange@GaTech). This platform will serve two purposes:
1. User study for our evaluation of the proposed schemes in reputation and recommender systems;
2. A social network platform that would enhance and foster learning and education.

Currently, we are developing a web interface platform that we can perform a user study. The user study will play a crucial role in the evaluation of our reputation and recommender algorithms. This will help in validation and improvement of our method based on the user experiences of the prototype system.

Our ultimate intention is to lay out the foundation of a social network for education for information exchange services. The platform will enable students to discuss subjects among themselves and ask questions from each others. Our goal is to develop and test a pilot project at the Georgia Tech campus as a cyber-enabled virtual education community.
