Biography

Roozbeh Tabrizian received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2007. He then joined the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2008 where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. Farrokh Ayazi, with a focus on the design, fabrication and characterization of piezo-capacitive micromechanical resonators and filters for timing and signal processing applications.

Mr. Tabrizian is the recipient of the outstanding paper award at the 15th International Conference on Solid-State Sensors, Actuators, and Microsystems (Transducers 2011).
