Hossein M. Lavasani was born in Tehran, Iran. He received the B.S. degree
in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran,
Iran, in 2001 and M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Arizona State
University, Tempe, AZ in 2003. From 2003 to 2004, he was with Medtronic Microelectronics Center, Phoenix
as an IC Design Engineer where he was in charge of logic and mixed-signal
circuits for microcontroller units used in the pacemakers. Since then, he
has been working toward the Ph.D. degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA. His research interests are in the area of
interface circuit design and characterization for high-frequency
micromechanical oscillators.
