TIES Events

Previous Events

  • Visit by Fernando Mujica, from Texas Instruments, April 7-8. A Georgia Tech alumnus, Dr. Mujica serves as a TIES industry mentor for community college students majoring in electrical engineering or computer engineering. He met with our Miami Dade College (MDC) students to discuss career development and engineering career options.  This was a wonderful opportunity for students to attend an informal, invitation-only gathering to discuss career and academic goals with a Georgia Tech ECE alumnus.
  • TIES Kick-off Event, held August 25, 2009.  TIES students met with faculty who answered questions and discussed program activities. TIES faculty members attending the event were Linda Wills, Doug Williams, and Jill Auerbach.
