Eligibility and Program Application

To be eligible for a TIES scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, U.S. permanent resident, or admitted refugee
  • Be enrolled full-time in electrical engineering (EE) or computer engineering (CmpE) at Georgia Tech after transferring from a two-year community college (or be accepted to Georgia Tech’s EE or CmpE program at time of application)
  • Demonstrate financial need based on review by Georgia Tech’s Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (must complete Georgia Tech Application for Scholarships & Financial Aid and FAFSA form)
  • Submit a TIES Scholarship application at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/R27LHLZ
