ECE Outreach: Organizations
Many Georgia Tech student organizations, both those affiliated with ECE and those that are connected with engineering in general, are involved with pre-college and college outreach activities and community service activities.
In ECE, those groups include:
- Eta Kappa Nu, the ECE honor society
- ECE Student-Faculty Committee
- Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
- Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering
Student organizations at Georgia Tech that are involved in outreach activities, particularly with regards to recruiting women and underrepresented minorities to the field, include:
- Georgia Tech Society of Black Engineers
- Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
- Society of Women Engineers
