Program Eligibility & How to Apply

ORS Scholar Eligibility

Application to participate in this innovative program is open to all electrical and computer engineering students who have at least one full academic year until graduation. Priority is given to freshmen, sophomores, and transfer students. Applicants should be in good academic standing. Applications are accepted throughout the year, but vacant slots are usually open only at the beginning of each fall semester. Once accepted, Scholars may participate in the program for three years, if all program and academic requirements are met.

ORS Mentors

Ph.D. mentor selection is based on recommendations from faculty research advisors.
