- Introduction

Windows CE development for our group manifested itself in the form of a device driver. The motivation for a driver came from the inability to use existing hardware in the lab. The target machines for a Windows CE 2.12 platform are described here. Implementation of a Hard Disk driver for use with the target systems broadens the foundation from which new and more exciting projects can be developed.

Of course, there are other devices attached to the celeron machines that need a driver, or an improved driver. For example, although 320x200 resolution does not inhibit productivity it does prove annoying at times.. We chose the Hard Disk because of our previous experience with ATA devices and the benefits such a driver would have for future classes.

I've thought long and hard as to whether to put our names here.. I suppose in the end we really would like the credit for the grade, at least :)
